M3 - pick 4 images and show how you composed them using golden ratio / leading lines / perspective / depth of field

Image
For this image I increased the shutter speed so I could capture the water flowing up and spilling out at the top. It also allowed me to capture the reflections in the water. After setting the camera down on the floor I help it in place so it wouldn't fall into the water then took the image. It took me multiple attempts to capture this shot.  This is a good image to show that I am using leading lines as well as depth of field. To first capture the leading lines I set on the camera down onto the point where I wanted the lines to lead from, when I was trying to capture the depth of field of the shot I put it into manual focus and attempted to capture the shot, starting off the image was all out of focus so I tried again moving the lens around a bit.

P5 - Show export process and finished images in a folder.

Image
When you ready to export your photos then press files and go down to export.  Before you select export make sure you have selected the photos you want to export. A simple way of selecting them all I by holding shift and then clicking on the first and last image, this will then select all photos.  Now all of the photos have been selected press onto export all photos and then create a sensibly named folder.

P4 - Show how you organised images

Image
This image here shows how I have organized my images into albums, this album being for Doncaster Town Centre, it helps organize my images into the location of the shoot. I have rated my images I am showing here the  ten images I think are worth five stars, these are the main ten I have chosen to edit and export.

LO4 M4: Explain what metadata is?

Image
What is the difference between EXIF data and IPTC metadata?  EXIF data deals with the technical side of taking photos, such as what equipment was used and the settings the user uses as well, whereas IPTC focuses on content of the images, together with their status with regards to ownership and licenses. One difference is that IPTC data needs to be manual added to am imagine, however EXIF data is already added due to it giving information on what settings were used to create the image. Although, it is possible to add IPTC data manually this could become inefficient for the photographer just because the photographer will be taking pictures of many different things and some may end up being the same scene. The most current IPTC data is split into two schemas; IPTC core and IPTC extension, while these are two different they do cover these three types of properties: administrative, descriptive and information relating to rights.  IPTC Core  When looking at IPTC core it depends on the softwa

Pre Edited Version.    After Edit    Above are the settings I used to edit my photo. As you can see I increased the exposure slightly and also decreased the contrast to -1. The highlights have also decreased the highlights to remove clipping from the image which leaves out a lot of the detail.    This how to change the aperture on a camera, it is measured in F/stops which are numbered 1-1. The aperture is how much light is let into the lens. For example, if the aperture is high then a lot of light would be let into the lens and vice versa.  I didn't choose this photo because of the angle it was shot at, it also had a lot of darkness so the detail was being lost in the texture of the wall. Furthermore, you can see in the bottom angle there are some cars in the shot.  Although this would have been a nice shot to take during the evening I can see now that it doesn't meet the brief I was set. It show a lot of the shot out of focus so it doesn't have a nice look to it. It al
